All Brookvent MVHR and MEV systems are independently SAP Q Certified by the Building Research Establishment (BRE).

SAP Q provides a means whereby validated individual branded product performance information can be accessed and used as an adjunct to the SAP calculation for UK dwellings. This means that the Brookvent product can be used as a certified means of improving the dwelling emission rate by UK SAP Assessors.

SAP Q Certification also ensures that Brookvent’s MVHR and MEV products are tested on a like for like basis with its competitors ensuring brand recognition and that fair performance comparisons can be easily be achieved.

Brookvent is currently the only BPEC Centre of Excellence in Ireland offering a BPEC course designed to meet the requirements in the Domestic Ventilation Compliance Guide 2010 for the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and provision of information for Fixed Domestic Systems for both new and existing residential buildings.

The course is recognised by all the Competent Persons Schemes within the industry including HVCA and NICEIC and is targeted at the contractor and consultant sectors.

HEVAC is a trade association within the building engineering services element of the wider construction industry. Traditionally representing manufacturers and suppliers, it is the largest member of the Federation of Environmental Trade Associations (FETA).

The Residential Ventilation Association (RVA) is the specialist overall ventilation group with the HEVAC Association. As an active member of the RVA and HEVAC, we at Brookvent have made a positive decision to differentiate ourselves by belonging to a reputable, not-for-profit organisation, which is committed to making a difference. Central to those efforts is a focus on energy efficiency, supporting DECC and International Energy Association views that the demand for energy can and should be significantly reduced via this mechanism.

As the representative voice of HVAC equipment suppliers, HEVAC promotes and defends the interests of its member companies. It does so in a number of ways: by participating in relevant scientific and policy debates; by being a prime source of information, and by formulating technical guidance.
